Who’s Top Of The Tipster League?
I am delighted to be able to share with you the results of the first full month of The Tipster League, with 61 tipsters taking part – we are more than doubling that to 125 from March and more are joining all the time!
Before I reveal the results, let me just reiterate one important fact – the Betting Rant is about finding long-term, consistent profits. So while individual monthly performances are important, it is the long-term picture which is more telling. From next month we will be including year-to-date results, and as time goes on these will tell us more and more about each of the tipsters involved.
So enjoy this month’s results but remember this is a battle and not the whole war.
The winner of the inaugural monthly Tipster League Table is…
THE BOOKIES ENEMY – 57.0 points profit at an ROI of 68.67%.
Gary was followed by The Golf Profiteer (45.4 points) and Shane Murphy’s Irish Tips (44.74 points).
But it isn’t just about points profit when assessing tipsters and we had winners using the other measures as follows:
ROI – The Ante Post King 97.58%
ROC – The Bookies Enemy 57.0%
Strike Rate – Banker Bets 79.31%
Best of the lay services this month was Sequence Lays with 40.0 points profit at 10.45% ROI.
Aside from horse racing and golf, the best performing services already being covered above, we had the following:
Football – The Football Guru 6.9 points and Pro Footy Tips 6.09 points
Multi-Sports – The Ante Post King 32.2 points
The other markets – greyhounds and tennis – had only one tipster covered this month.
There really are too many permutations of measures, markets, back or lay etc. to cover them all here. So I would encourage you to access the fully interactive table here and review the performances for yourself.
There will be weekly updates to the monthly table every Monday through March, starting on Monday 5th, so keep an eye out on The Tipster League homepage and on Twitter @betwithchris and @BettingRant.
