Brief Summary:

Football bets on European and world football leagues, including internationals. Very much aimed at quality over quantity, these guys focus on bets with a high probability of success combined with value odds. Most bets utilise the Asian markets, although we have seen outright bets during the World Cup as well. Tips are delivered by e-mail on days when tips are recommended.

How Much Money Do I Need to Get Started?

A 50-point starting bank is recommended.

How Much Money Can I Make?

No specific claims made. According to the results on the web site, 2017 ended with a profit of 4.191 points (although December lost over 11 points) and 2018 to the end of June shows 4.786 points profit.

How Much Time Will I Need to Make This Work?

Literally a couple of minutes on days when tips are recommended.

Will I Need Any Equipment to Do This?

Internet connection with a laptop, PC or mobile device and access to online bookmaker accounts.

Value for Money?

As always, I will defer an opinion here until the end of the three-month review period.

Quality of Customer Service?

Not tested. However, the contact I have had in setting up the review has been professional, courteous and timely.

Review

We Bet You Win has been run by a team of professional sports bettors based in Sweden since January 2017. They use a rigorous selection process to identify selections with a high probability of success, combined with value odds available. This means there are on average only 20-30 bets per month (less in the off-season for the major European leagues), The aim is for a high strike rate to offset the short average odds. Across the full year in 2017 the strike rate was 49.17% (including half-wins) at average odds of 2.04 (just above evens).

E-mail notification of tips is received on the morning of the matches being tipped, although there may be tips several days ahead if the odds are favourable and expected to drop. The e-mails themselves are clear and concise and contain everything you need to place the bets quickly – match details, selection, bet details, stake recommended, best odds and bookmaker offering and second-best odds and bookmaker offering.

The website carries a full analysis of results from 2017 and 2018 to date, both in summary by month and on an individual bet-by-bet basis.

There is no analysis provided for the tips, but we are assured that “meticulous research goes into every selection”.

This is a simple, straightforward service which will succeed or fail on its results.

Results for Month 1 (11th June to 10th July 2018)

This month’s focus was exclusively on the World Cup, with a mixture of match bets and outright selections. The match bets delivered a loss of 0.56 points, whilst the outright bets on the group stages lost 1.52 points for an overall loss in the month of 2.08 points. We still have France running as an outright win bet at odds of 7.5 which, if successful, will add three points net profit after offsetting the outright losing bets on Germany, Brazil and Neymar to be top goalscorer. As always, ante-post bets are recorded on the date at which the event concludes.

There were 33 bets in the month, of which 13 were winners (39.39% strike rate). However, there were also four further half-wins, which if added to the strike rate give 51.5%, which compares with the overall rate quoted for 2017. Average odds of selections in the period was 2.09, which again is bang in line with the figure from 2017.

There were no significant losing runs, although the last three tips for the period were all unsuccessful, losing four points in total and taking the monthly position from a small profit to a small loss.

Results for Month 2 (11th July to 10th August 2018)

France winning the World Cup helped to secure a three-point profit from the outright bets on that tournament. The final match bet from the World Cup was also successful, unfortunately on Belgium to beat England, and delivered a further 1.97 points of profit. The European league action has also begun again, and three wins, three losses and a push on these selections this month resulted in a tiny profit of 0.07 points.

The 5.04 points total profit this month has erased the small loss from Month 1 and leaves us 2.96 points up overall. Without the outright bets we would be sitting around the breakeven point after two months.

The average odds this month (4.34) were affected by the World Cup outright bets. If we ignore these the average odds on the league action was 1.96, much more in keeping with the expected level.

Summary at End of Month 1

Everything was in line with claims on the website in terms of number of bets, average odds and strike rates, but the small loss for the month shows that the strike rate needs to be above that achieved this month. Signs of promise in a period when the “normal” domestic football is absent and we have seen a World Cup full of shocks!

Summary at End of Month 2

The return of the domestic football leagues for the final month of the trial will give us a clearer indication of the performance of this service, although at the end of the day a profit is a profit, and everyone loves a nice outright winner now and again.
