How Much Money Do I Need to Get Started?

A 50-point starting bank is recommended by BetInfo24 for this service.

How Much Money Can I Make?

The results spreadsheet on the website shows 91.48 points profit since the service begun in August 2018. This would equate to just over ten-points profit per month.

How Much Time Will I Need to Make This Work?

With no complicated staking plan and just win and each-way single selections, it is a matter of a few minutes each day when the tips are received.

Will I Need Any Equipment to Do This?

A laptop, PC, tablet or smartphone with Internet connectivity and access to a range of online bookmakers’ accounts. Although the traditional over-the-counter bet at the local bookmakers works just fine, except for achieving the best odds on each selection.

Value for Money?

As always, I will defer a comment until the end of the review period. With a final profit of over 60-points and an ROI (return on investment) of 17.26% this service definitely earns a VFM pass based on our three-month review. At £22 plus VAT per month it is also at the lower end of the current market prices.

Quality of Customer Service?

Full email support is provided seven-days a week according to the website, and they aim to reply within 24 hours. Although I haven’t had to use this during the review so far, I did get timely replies to my emails when setting up the review.

Contact can also be made via the members’ area of the website.

Viewpoint Racing is part of the BetInfo24 platform of racing tipsters. Providing win and each-way single bets on all codes of British and Irish racing, they have been active since August 2018.

On average there are around 100 tips per month, but the daily volumes can fluctuate wildly, from no bet to six or seven selections. The majority of selections are staked as one-point to win or 0.5 points each-way, occasionally this may be doubled to two-points to win or one-point each-way.

Selections are sent the evening before racing, usually between 19:00 and 21:00. As well as the email notification, the tips can be picked up for the members’ area of the website. The email itself contains just the selection details, with no analysis or rationale for the selections.

Viewpoint Racing makes his selections based on race conditions and how the race is expected to be run.

According to the BetInfo24 website, Viewpoint Racing has a 27% strike rate and a 31% Return on Investment (ROI) between August 2018 and the end of April 2019. Although the headline figures on the website indicate an average monthly profit of eight-points, a look at the detailed results spreadsheet suggest this should actually be nearer to 10-points.

Results – Month 1 (1st April to 30th April 2019)

A bumper month to kick off the review – the curse of the review is obviously on holiday! A total profit of 43.82 points in April almost doubled the cumulative profit for Viewpoint Racing in a single month.

Although the strike rate of 24.56% (28 from 114) is slightly below the historic level claimed, the average winning odds of just over 4/1 (5.13) ensured a bumper profit. The Return on Investment exceeded the cumulative historic results, delivering 31.64% for the month.

The first couple of days of the month gave little indication of what was to come as the first seven selections all lost, including a rare quarter-point reverse forecast. The fourth day really set the tone though as Viewpoint landed a clean sweep four out of four for 19.5 points profit on the day. Winners continued to appear at regular intervals thereafter, until 26th April produced four winners from five selections and a daily profit of 21.5 points.

Results – Month 2 (1st May to 31st May 2019)

This month managed to surpass the performance of last month, with a profit of 46.58 points secured. The cumulative profit after two months now stands at 90.4 points, a performance well ahead of what has gone before for this service.

There were less selections this month and a slightly lower strike rate (21.28%). However, the average odds of the 20 winners this month was 6.67 (over 11/2), more than 1.5 points up on last month. The winners ranged from 7/4 (2.75) to 20/1 (21.0), and were supplemented by a further nine placed each-way picks at average odds of just under 10/1 (10.78).

The ROI (return on investment) this month of 40.86% means we now have a cumulative return of 35.8% after two months.

In contrast to the first month, this month got off to a flying start with four winners in three days from the first eight bets, including a three-point maximum stake on Abel Handy at Musselburgh. The winners continued to come regularly throughout the rest of the month, and only a couple of blank days to close out the period stopped the profit exceeding the 50-point mark.

BetInfo24 are currently offering a 14-day trial of Viewpoint Racing for just £3 plus VAT (£3.60).

Results – Month 3 (1st June to 3oth June 2019)

Despite recording a loss of 28.44 points in the final month of the review, Viewpoint Racing still delivered over 60-points profit over the three months. The monthly average profit of 20-points during the review was around double the historic levels for this service, and was delivered at an ROI (return on investment) of 17.26%.

The final month in isolation doesn’t make for pretty reading, with the strike rate dropping to 12.35%. Although this doesn’t include one dead heat, and there were a further five placed each-way selections as well. The average odds of the winning selections fell back to the Month 1 level, finishing the month at 5.28 (c.9/4). The real damage though came right at the end of the review, with just one winner from the last 19 selections.

However, we look at the longer-term performance of a service rather than a single month in isolation. So a final profit of 61.96 points and an ROI of 17.26% makes for a more than satisfactory three months.

The net ROI (after taking off the cost of the membership fees for three months) nets down to 14.73% at £10 per point stakes and 16.74% at £50 per point, both of which are still very acceptable levels.

Summary at End of Month 1

The best ever month for Viewpoint Racing to kick off the review. Not much else to be added really.

Summary at End of Month 2

Last month’s record profit lasted, well one month! This month eclipsed last month’s total profit by just over 2.5 points and delivered a much higher ROI to boot.

Summary at End of Month 3

Despite a loss in the final month, the overall performance during the review was well ahead of the historic averages and delivered good profit and ROI returns.
