Where to Buy:

USA Bank Builder

How Much Money Do I Need to Get Started?

A starting bank of 250-points is recommended for this service.

How Much Money Can I Make?

Since joining Betfan this service has made 70-points profit (to end of September) at an ROI of around 8%. Bank building is all about consistency not just big returns and in that respect an 8% return over a longer period could be considered to be achieving what the service sets out to deliver. However, at the moment we only have six months results on the Betfan website to base that on.

How Much Time Will I Need to Make This Work?

There are just one to three tips each day, although all come on separate emails. Consequently this is not a time consuming service to follow and a few minutes each day is all that is required.

Will I Need Any Equipment to Do This?

The modern armoury of a laptop, PC, tablet or smart phone with internet connectivity and access to a range of online bookmaker accounts is recommended.

Value for Money?

Far too early to reach a decision and I’ll defer a comment until the end of the review.

Quality of Customer Service?

Has the backing and support of the Betfan platform. Requests for support are made via the support ticket system on the website. There is also a frequently asked questions page available. There is no timescale mentioned for responding to support requests.

I have always had timely and courteous responses to all communication with Betfan.

USA Bank Builder has been on the Betfan platform since April 2019. However, we are told that the man behind the service has over 20 years’ experience in sports betting, having run a successful enterprise in his native Bulgaria before emigrating.

The service provides selected tips from the MLB (Major League Baseball) in America, with one to three tips being a typical day during the season. Selections and recommended stakes are determined using a combination of probability and knowledge gained in the financial investment market.

Selections are predominantly singles, with occasional doubles and the odd treble or bigger appearing from time to time. Staking is on a scale of one to four-points, with the average being close to two-points.

The email advices arrive each morning before 09:30, and generally closer to 07:00 to 8:00. Each tip comes on a separate email and the selections are also available in the members’ area of the website and on the Betfan app.

A look at the results information on the Betfan site tells us that the profit to the end of September virtually all came in two months (April +30.51 and September +38.37 points). In addition, there were three further small profits and just the one losing month (August). This fits the profile of a service describing itself as a “bank builder”, with consistent long-term profits the key, even at a lower rate of return than might be achieved by a more volatile service.

Results – Month 1 (21st September to 20th October 2019)

The month was going along very nicely until a four-day run of just one win from 12 selections. The service didn’t recover from that, and a further run of just one win in six selections (all three-point stakes) at the end of the month left the final loss at 21.08 points.

There were 62 singles in the month, of which 24 (38.71%) won. This strike rate is considerably down on where it needs to be given the average odds of selections is around 5/4 (actually 2.28). There was just the one double in the period and that was successful, returning around even money.

The first two days produced six winners from nine singles plus the double for nine-points profit. However, it was a two-day spell at the end of the first week that was the real high spot of the month. The 27th and 28th of September produced six winners from seven selections (there was one void pick due to the Kansas City-Minnesota game being postponed) and a profit of just under 11-points.

Summary at End of Month 1

Although a losing month to kick off the review we have still only seen a drawdown of less than 10% of the bank, so there is plenty of room for recovery in the following periods.
