Ultimate Football Tips

How Much Money Do I Need to Get Started?

A starting bank of 75-pints is recommended.

How Much Money Can I Make?

The website claims average monthly profits of £128.33 to £10 per point stakes since the service launched in May 2018.

How Much Time Will I Need to Make This Work?

This is a simple, straightforward service and takes minutes daily to place the bets.

Will I Need Any Equipment to Do This?

The standard PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone with internet connectivity and a range of online bookmaker accounts is sufficient.

Value for Money?

I’ll defer until the end of the three months as always. Suffice to say at this point that the quarterly membership works out to just £16.67 per month, so there is plenty of scope for VFM here. Although we saw an upturn in fortunes in the final month of the review, with a monthly profit inline with the historic average claimed, there was still an overall loss of 16.56 points. On that basis alone, despite the competitive pricing of the service, I cannot award a VFM pass for the review.

Quality of Customer Service?

Part of the Betting Gods platform, who provide full customer support via email, live chat and the members’ area of the website.

Review

Launched in May 2018 on the Betting Gods’ platform, Ultimate Football Tips (UFT) provides daily football selections from around the world. As well as singles, which form the majority of bets, there are doubles, trebles and accumulators from time to time as well. The selections focus on the match odds and both teams to score (BTTS) markets, but occasionally delve into other options such as match odds + BTTS and the Asian handicaps.

Personally, I have an issue with services that cover too broad a range for their selections as it is difficult to keep fully abreast of all of the information and data all of the time. Having seen selections from as far afield as the Israeli, Polish, English, Bolivian and Slovenian leagues, I would put UFT firmly in that camp. However, the results will speak for themselves and I’m happy to be proved wrong.

The selections are sent out by email each day and are also available via the members’ area of the website and the free mobile app which is provided as part of your membership package. This is a nice touch that helps to ensure you don’t miss tips if emails are delayed.

As a member of UFT you can also gain access to the private Betting Gods Mastermind group on Facebook.

The email itself usually has a write up of the rationale behind the selections, which is something I think all tipsters should provide at least at some level. Aside from that, the email contains the league, the match, the kick off time and the bets to be placed, together with the recommended stake and odds, and the bookies offering those prices.

The stakes range from one to three points and in the first month of the review averaged out to 1.62 points per bet.

Although the website indicates that tips are delivered between 10:00 and 11:00 each day this has not been our experience in the first month of the review. As well as seeing tips anytime from 07:00, we have seen three days when they came the evening before – two around 19:30 and one at 22:25. The majority have actually arrived between 08:00 and 10:00 in fact.

The website has a full breakdown of the results since launch, as well as monthly totals and ROI calculations.

Results – Month 1 (22nd October to 21st November 2018)

There were 37 bets in this period, slightly down on the 40-50 per month stated on the website, although the international break would probably have played a part in that number. Of those 37 bets, 11 were winning selections, a strike rate of 29.73% which is roughly a quarter down on the historic average. However, it is only the first month of three and there is time for that rate to rise closer to the mean.

The overall result this month was a loss of 12.04 points. This came from average odds across all selections of 3.12 (just over 2/1) and average winning odds of 2.55 (around 6/4).

The breakdown this month was 24 singles (loss of 8.78 points), seven doubles (loss of 3.44 points), three trebles (profit of 3.18 points) and three accumulators (loss of 3 points).

Results – Month 2 (22nd November to 21st December 2018)

The total number of bets this month (32) was down on the previous month, although there was a slightly higher strike rate (33.33%) achieved. Despite the increase in the strike rate we still saw a bigger loss than Month 1. This period we lost 15.27 points, which when added to the loss from last month,  gives us a cumulative deficit so far of 27.31 points.

The number of multiple bets this month was well down on last, with just four doubles and two trebles. Of these, only one double made any return. The remaining 24 single bets had nine winners and one push for an overall loss of 11.18 points.

Results – Month 3 (22nd December 2018 to 21st January 2019)

A much better month to close out the review, with a monthly profit of 10.75 points. This is broadly in line with the historic monthly average claimed on the website. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to recover all of the losses from the first two months and we ended the three months with an overall loss of 16.56 points.

The turnaround came about as the strike rate went from 33.33% in Month 2 (lower still in Month 1) to 58.97% this month. There was also a half-win in the month which is not picked up in the strike rate. This gave an overall strike rate for the review period of 41.51%.

Not surprisingly, the upturn in the strike rate coincided with a significant fall off in the number of multiples covered. This month saw just one treble and one fourfold, with no doubles at all. Although the fourfold came close to be landed with three of the four legs winning, it was the treble which provided a boost to the profits as three underdogs covered the Asian handicap spreads for a 3.21 return (c.9/4).

Despite opening with a couple of losing months the bank was never seriously threatened and a continuation of the performance from month 3 would see the remaining losses quickly recovered. However, that’s all if, but and maybe, what is fact is that the loss of 16.56 points would equate to £215.56 (including membership costs) at £10 per point stakes and £877.80 (including subscription fee) at £50 per point.

Summary at End of Month 1

The analysis of the tips is a big plus, and whilst it is early days in the review, we will be looking for a significant performance improvement in the next two months to help substantiate the historic claims for UFT.

Summary at End of Month 2

Unfortunately there was no improvement in the performance in Month 2 and it is difficult to see UFT turning the result of the review around in the final month, but it could happen.

Summary at End of Month 3

A much better performance to close out the review, and probably more than a little related to the change in focus to singles rather than multiples. It will be interesting to see if the focus remains on singles, as this would probably see UFT continue to profit in the longer-term.

Remember, you can now continue to monitor UFT’s performance at Tipstars, along with over 150 other tipster services.
