This Week’s Freebies

| October 13, 2016 | Reply

Last week was a better one for Luke with another full house on the rugby front and he’s looking for egg shaped profits once more, along with selections on the football.

Enjoy this week’s column and, as ever, if you have any comments for either myself or Luke you can reach us at bettingrant@agorapub.co.uk.

Oh what a Saturday

Last Saturday I was cooking on gas, starting off with a small stake I jumped on the New Zealand and Australia handicaps…
Kerching, both of those come flying in.

Keeping an eye on value as you’re out and about is very hard work but I kept on…

Wigan to win the Grand Final after being down at half time (2.90), bang, that one flies in.

I am now sitting on around £50 from a minimal £10 start up, this 50 soon doubled to £100 and now I’m wondering what to get on next.

UfC is in Manchester and will surely be on live late evening I think but it turns out not as some nutter assumed having the main event at 5am to tie in with American audiences would be a great idea!

Well, long story short, I staked the whole house (£100) on Henderson beating Bisping and I strongly believe Hendo’ won the bout purely on damage alone.

Yes Bisping stayed in the fight and kept busy but he never inflicted any damage on the big man!

Egg shaped profits

RUGBY

The Premiership has a couple of weeks off to allow for European competition…

The majority of teams will be fielding strong line-ups where possible and Glasgow should be the team to beat.

FRIDAY: GLASGOW TO BEAT LEICESTER WITH A -3.5 POINT HANDICAP (5/6 GENERALLY)

SATURDAY: SARACENS TO BEAT TOULON (5/4 GENERALLY)

GLASGOW AND TOULOUSE TO WIN (2.65 PADDY POWER)

NFL

NEW YORK GIANTS TO BEAT THE BALTIMORE RAVENS WITH A -3 POINT HANDICAP (EVENS GENERALLY)

JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS TO BEAT THE CHICAGO BEARS WITH A +2.5 POINT HANDICAP (EVENS GENERALLY)

The good stuff

Like the majority of punting folk I have been doing the merry dance to celebrate international football temporarily being over, dire as it is to watch and even worse to lump on.

Back is the big league stuff, but this weekend doesn’t have much screaming value so consider this…

West Brom vs. Tottenham Hotspur
Crystal Palace vs. West Ham
Stoke vs. Sunderland
Bournemouth vs. Hull

These four games are the sort that could go either way and no doubt would lead you leaning one way or another to pump some bigger value to your weekly acca.

Well I will be having some dollar on all of these games ending in draws and at 171/1 (BET VICTOR) my betting buds are dribbling!
