Visitors to the website will wonder if it is really offering what is claimed as the whole thing appears dated and gives very little information about the underlying product.

We attempted to ask a few initial questions before acquiring the manual but there was no response from the contact details given. It appears that the original author has sold on the publishing rights and the main benefit to potential buyers is that Clickbank is now the payment portal and so there is automatic 60 day protection available if you do not like what you get.

The manual itself is dated and written when Betfair trading was a relative novelty. It covers four strategies of which three are sports betting and the fourth a poker game which has changed its name since the manual was written. We have not looked at this element in detail as it is not possible to paper trade now.

The first two strategies are football related and are a basic lay the draw scheme and also a method for selecting away teams to lay. The lay the draw details would be laughed at by most current authors but do give a basic understanding of the principles involved.

Our testing used only the criteria stated and does not take account of any in play trading that might have been possible. We have treated matches as successful where a trade out would have been likely due to the pattern
and timing of goals scored in the match. To our surprise the matches tested showed a profit at nearly 50% of the initial stakes.

There was less success with the away system which lost 75% of stakes – the advice is to place the bet and see what happens, not trade if there is an opportunity. There are 5 criteria applied in the process which are reasonably argued and using a site such as Flash Scores or Soccer Stats can be readily checked for free.

The spreadsheet shows our results for these two strategies. The number available will depend on the time investment by the user but it would seem that there should be a fair number generally.

The author then goes on to develop the theme and apply it in what he calls his Easy Lay Method. Essentially this can be used in any sporting market where there are odds on favourites the advice being to lay and use recovery staking until you have achieved your profit target for the day.

This can be a very quick and easy operation or become rather stressful if you have a run of winners which is quite possible. If your bank is deep enough, and your nerve good this should achieve its objective most days. Again time investment may be a factor especially as you need to calculate your next stake following a losing lay.

It is probably fair to say the strategies are soundly based, although the away team option was not successful for us. In today’s market place I suspect buyers are looking for rather more than the bare outlines offered here and with no support available to help out with difficulties my inclination would be to look elsewhere for more specialised products. I do not intend to give up the day job having checked it out!
