Multi-Attack (Update and Closure Notice)

| May 20, 2019 | Reply

THIS SERVICE CEASED ON 19th MAY 2019 – although I have included an update on the results for the second month, this is purely for completeness and really highlights the reasons behind the closure.

Product Name:

Company Name & Contact Details:

Either £20 per month or £50 per quarter.

The first month is available for just £10.

Money Back Guarantee:

None mentioned. Standard PayPal terms apply.

What Do You Get?

Daily Trixie bets delivered by email between 10:00 and midday (although for the last week or so they have arrived between 06:30 and 08:00, so I’ll keep an eye on whether this is a permanent change).

Where to Buy:

How Much Money Do I Need to Get Started?

A starting bank of 100-points has been used for the review as nothing is mentioned on the website.

How Much Money Can I Make?

The PuntHub website states over 170 points profit in 10 months (to the end of February 2019), so around 17 points per month on average. However, the same page also shows a loss for March of over 58 points which brings the cumulative for 11 months to 118 points, or 10.72 points per month average.

How Much Time Will I Need to Make This Work?

Literally a couple of minutes each day when the email is received. The email gives the bookmaker offering the advised odds.

Will I Need Any Equipment to Do This?

A laptop, PC, tablet or smartphone with internet connectivity and access to a range of bookmaker accounts (to maximise the return) is recommended. Although you could walk into your local bookmaker’s shop and place these bets as well.

Value for Money?

As always, I will wait for the conclusion of the review before offering an opinion.

Quality of Customer Service?

The PuntHub website claims that all emails are answered within 12 hours of receipt. I have always received prompt and courteous replies when dealing with PuntHub.

Multi-Attack joined the PuntHub “Casting Couch” in May 2018 and quickly earned his place as a paid for tipster. The service is based primarily on daily Trixies, although there are occasional variations to two win singles and a win double when three selections are not available.

For those not familiar with a Trixie, it is three selections combined into three doubles and a treble (four bets in total). It can be used for win or each-way selections. Multi-attack uses one-point win Trixies and so the total daily outlay is four points.

The email is received each morning between 10:00 and midday. However, the last few days have seen the email arrive between 06:30 and 08:00 so I’ll keep an eye on whether this is a permanent change.

The email itself lists the three selections for the day along with details of the race and the advised odds for that selection. The bookmaker(s) offering those prices is given at the end of the email.

A Trixie which lands all three winners has the potential to deliver a significant profit, even at the lowish average odds used by the service (around 2/1). The added benefit of this approach is that two winners will generally give a small profit, and this should help to maintain more regular, steady increases in the bank.

The Multi-Attack page on the PuntHub website does have a link to a results spreadsheet. But as I write this on 23rd April the spreadsheet was last updated on April 1st, over three weeks ago.

Results – Month 1 (22nd March to 21st April 2019)

Ouch! Of the 31 Trixies in the period, none managed three winners, eight had two winners and one had one winner and a non-runner. Of the eight that had two winners, one still resulted in a small loss of 0.36 points, the remainder ranged from 0.73 to 2.56 points profit.

The overall result for the month was a loss of 81.31 points, which with a starting bank of 100-points leave us perilously close to bombing out next month if results do not improve. There is an argument that a larger bank might be more appropriate for this service, but the historic result claims suggested otherwise.

The average odds of all the selections this month was a shade under 2/1 at 2.71. The range was between 1.8 (4/5) and 5.0 (4/1). The average of the winning selections was slightly lower at 2.48 (c.6/4) and ranged from 1.91 (10/11) to 4.5 (7/2).

Results – Month 2 (22nd April to 18th May 2019)

We saw returns on six of the 29 days when bets were recommended. All six returns were for two winners in the Trixie, and at average odds per selection of just over 2/1 (3.09) this was insufficient to avert another significant loss. This month’s (actually three days short of a full month) loss of 66.9 points means we have a cumulative loss of 148.21 points after less than two full months.

The performance this month meant that the starting bank of 100-points was wiped out halfway through the month. So the run of 12 consecutive days without a return up to the closure was academic anyway.

Summary at End of Month 1

Not the start we expected and one which will need to be turned around quickly to save the review period.

Summary at End of Month 2

PuntHub ceased operating this service on 19th May 2019 in light of the extremely poor results. A loss of almost 150-points in less than two full months during our review tells the story.

The breakdown of the results during the review can be found here.
