Chris Sowerbypeter-brt

Head Reviewer for The Betting Rant, my aim is to bring fair, constructive and accurate reviews to the membership and wider betting public. I will aim to uncover some nuggets in some of the less exposed sports for betting, and also expose the unsavoury scams and wastes of money out there. I always have a portfolio of “live” services that I am using personally and constantly look at options to add or upgrade them. Through this process I have become very adept at identifying what to look for, how to analyse the service and have generally been able to reach an accurate assessment.

Alongside the reviews I will be aiming to bring you regular, topical articles relating to sports and sports betting. As a racehorse owner myself, I have a wide network of contacts and access to sources in different areas of the racing world, from trainers and jockeys to bookmakers to regulatory bodies.

The Grader

The Grader was a regular in his local betting shops while at university and ended up becoming a staff member. He applied for management training in the hope of getting his own shop. Shocked and disappointed at being rejected he handed in his resignation to his area manager who explained that the reason for his being unsuccessful was the desire of the firm to steer him towards greyhound racing Thus began a very interesting Grading career in the sport.

Sean Trivass

I see myself as a racing specialist, even an ambassador for the sport. I am equally happy working through systems and statistics as I am interviewing trainers or spending a day with Sir Ivor Racing clients at the track. The racing world is different every day, and I never stop learning – that is the key to my success.
