Launched in March 2019, Goals Gold is one of the offerings from Premium Sports Tipsters. The daily tips are from the over/under goals markets on European football, be that the European national leagues, Champions League, Europa League or internationals. The service operates in the main European football season between August and May.

There is one recommended tip per day, which could be a single or a double. The bets come primarily, but not exclusively, from the over/under 2.5 and 3.5 goal markets.

The email comes at various times but always well in advance of the match(es) being tipped. The information given on the email is simply the match, the bet detail, the best odds currently available and where from, and the recommended stake.

Staking is primarily four-points per bet, but one- and two-point stakes are used on occasion.

The subscription options include a season-long pass which works out at the equivalent of just £12.50 per month. There is no money-back guarantee mentioned though.

All-in-all, this is a simple service to follow and requires little time each day to get the bets placed.

Results – Month 1 (16th August to 15th September 2019)

The review started with a profit of 8.69 points in the first month, in line with the current season’s performance but slightly behind the historic results.

There was a run of six consecutive winning singles across the first six days of September. Although there was just one winner either side of that run, they did come at much higher odds of 4.1 and 4.5 (c.3/1 and 7/2). The six consecutive wins had been at average odds of 2.59 (c.6/4). The overall strike rate on the singles was 34.78% (8/23). In addition there were nine doubles in the period, of which one was successful. However, the winning double returned odds of 15/2 (8.54) from two over 3.5 goals selections.

The overall profit was made up of 4.19 points from the doubles and 4.5 points from the singles, so a fairly even split.

The return on investment (ROI) in the period was 7.12%. However, this nets down to 4.14% at £10 per point stakes after deducting the cost of one month’s membership. At £50 per point stakes the net ROI is 6.51%.

Results – Month 2 (16th September to 15th October 2019)

This month produced a profit of 19.35 points and means that after two months we have a running total of 28.04 points, bang in line with the historic monthly average claimed.

The month had got off to the worst possible start with the first ten bets all losing, including six doubles. However, five winners from the next seven put us back in profit for the period and a run of four consecutive winners towards the end of the month ensured the profit was secured.

The singles this month performed exceptionally well, generating 42.35 points of profit. The doubles on the other hand produced seven straight losses totalling 23 points.

The biggest individual return came from the 3/1 (4.0) on over 3.5 goals in Leicester v Newcastle, with a 3.8 (just over 11/4) return on the same market for Crvena Zvezda v Olympiakos in the Champions League.

The ROI for the period was 19.35%, and after two months the return now sits at 12.63%. After taking into account the cost of two months membership, the net return is 10.52% at £10 per point stakes or 11.92% at £50 per point.

Summary at End of Month 1

A solid start to the review period with a profit which is in line with the current season’s average, although still behind the historic level.

Summary at End of Month 2

A nice profit this month which also brings the cumulative surplus in line with the historic average claimed.
