Football Acca Tipster

How Much Money Do I Need to Get Started?

A starting bank of 200-points is recommended for Football Acca Tipster.

How Much Money Can I Make?

Since launching on Betting Gods in October 2018 the results show an average monthly profit of just under 5-points.

How Much Time Will I Need to Make This Work?

All of the information required to place the bets – stake, best odds bookmakers etc – are included in the email and so placing them takes just a couple of minutes per bet. With an average of three bets per day it shouldn’t need more than 5-10 minutes to get them all placed.

Will I Need Any Equipment to Do This?

A PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone with internet connection and access to a range of online bookmaker accounts.

Value for Money?

Let’s wait for the end of the three months before coming to any conclusions on this score. In isolation the three months of the review do not indicate value for money given there was a loss before taking into account the cost of membership as well.

Quality of Customer Service?

Has the backing of the established Betting Gods platform and all of my communication has been answered quickly and efficiently. There is a “live chat” option for contacting them as well. The Betting Gods app is also very useful for ensuring you don’t miss tips or get them late through e-mail delays. A notification is sent when new tips are posted.

Football Acca Tipster is a relative newcomer, having launched on the Betting Gods platform in October 2018. As the name suggests this is a football service using multiples, mainly doubles and trebles, to increase the value of shorter priced selections. There are occasionally singles advised too.

Each day there are on average two or three bets, with selections coming almost exclusively from the European leagues. These range from the “majors” – English Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga , Serie A etc. – to some of the Scandinavian lower leagues and the like. There are also selections from the Champions League and Europa League.

The selections are sent between 08:00 and 10:00 each morning via email and the Betting Gods app. They are also available in the members’ area of the website. The notification includes the bet type, the selections, the league the selection is from, the stake and the bookmakers offering the current best price on the multiple. The inclusion of the leagues the tips are from is really helpful for those who do not have a wide knowledge of European football, it is also helpful with those with more knowledge when the selections start delving into some of the more obscure leagues.

The stakes for each bet range from two to eight points, with the average around four-points.

As with membership of any of the Betting Gods’ services, you’ll also gain access to the private Betting Gods Mastermind group on Facebook.

Since its launch in October last year Football Acca Tipster lays claim to an average monthly profit of five-points, an ROI of 2.06% and a win rate of 24.53%.

Results – Month 1 (5th April to 4th May 2019)

The first month was a real “game of two halves”. After hitting three out of three bets on 14th April (two doubles and a treble for 11.24 points profit) we sat just under 30-points profit for the month. However, that was as good as it got, and the remainder of the month failed to live up to the first ten days. Towards the end of the month we endured a sequence of nine consecutive losing bets over three days which saw 47-points wiped off the profit and loss account.

The final result was a loss of 55.74-points for the period.

There were 76 bets this month, comprising 13 singles, 33 doubles, 27 trebles and three fourfolds. The winning bets were made up of eight singles, 14 doubles and 10 trebles. The overall win rate for the month was, therefore, 42.1%. The individual bet type success rates were – singles 61.54%, doubles 42.4%, trebles 37.03% and fourfolds 0.00%.

Only the singles were profitable, making 4.3 points in the period. The doubles lost 23.53 points, the trebles 24.51 points and the fourfolds 12 points.

The average odds of all selections was 1.42, with the singles above average at 1.94, helped by two bets on the draw.

Results – Month 2 (5th May to 4th June 2019)

This month started well with five (two doubles and three trebles) of the first six bets winning over the first two days. The momentum continued and we approached the halfway point of the month over 50-points up. However, much like the previous month, the second half failed to live up to the first and we saw over half of the accumulated profit given back. This still left us with a very creditable 23.81 points profit for the month. The cumulative loss has now been reduced to 31.93 points after two months.

There were a total of 90 bets in this period, comprising 26 singles, 37 doubles, 24 trebles and three fourfolds. The winning selections came in the shape of 15 singles, 13 doubles, 14 trebles and one fourfold. The overall win rate for the month was, therefore, 47.77%. In terms of profit, it was the trebles that led the way with 35.41 points gained, whilst the singles added a further 14.21 points. On the other side, the fourfolds lost 3.01 points, and it was the doubles that really cost the month with a total loss of 22.8 points.

The average odds of all selections this month was slightly up at 1.53, whilst the singles were over evens, thanks in the main to five bets on the draw.

Results – Month 3 (5th June to 4th July 2019)

The six days between 6th and 11th June produced a bumper return for the service of over 50-points profit. In that period there were four winning singles, seven doubles, three trebles and a fourfold, compared to solitary losses on a single, a double and a fourfold (15 winning bets to three losses). However, the final profit for the month dropped back to 16.96 points after the sort of run that has constantly pegged back the performance throughout the review. The 28th to 30th June produce solitary successes on a single, a double and a treble compared to two losing singles, four losing doubles and a losing treble (three winning bets to seven losses), the overall result being a loss of over 12-points in those three days.

The near 17-point monthly profit did pare the overall loss for the review period back to less than 15-points, a mere blip against the recommended betting bank.

There were a total of 85 bets in this period, comprising 22 singles, 43 doubles, 19 trebles and just a single fourfold. The winning selections came in the shape of 13 singles, 21 doubles, 7 trebles and the one fourfold. The overall win rate for the month was, therefore, 49.41%. In terms of profit, it was the doubles that led the way with 17.6 points gained, whilst the singles added a further 3.01 points and the solitary fourfold another 3.91 points. On the other side, the trebles lost 4.56 points. But it was the improvement in the doubles performance that really enhanced the overall result for the month.

The average odds of all selections this month was lower at 1.49 (c.1/2), with the singles down to 1.84 from over evens last month, mainly due to there being just one bet on the draw compared to five previously.

Summary at End of Month 1

After a promising start the month tailed off quite badly and we were left with a loss in excess of 50-points for the month.

Summary at End of Month 2

A much better performance, and one, which if repeated next month, will see the losses from the first month recovered. There’s plenty of work still to be done before that happens, but at least this month has built the foundations for a full recovery.

Summary at End of Month 3

A second successive month of profit, which has seen the large loss in the first month whittled down to under 15-points. Once again the timing of the review has been critical, had we started a month later we would be looking at a much healthier picture – always a potential shortcoming of “snapshot” reviews. As always, my advice is to look at the longer-term performance in assessing the true potential or otherwise of a service you are interested in.
