Daily each-way singles on British horse racing, delivered by email the evening before racing.

Where to Buy:

Each Way Outsiders

How Much Money Do I Need to Get Started?

A starting bank of 250-points is recommended for this service.

How Much Money Can I Make?

No specific claims made, but a quick look at their results spreadsheet shows that between April and September 2019 the service made 600-points profit at best odds guaranteed (BOG) and 501-points profit at starting price (SP).

How Much Time Will I Need to Make This Work?

There are between one and three selections most days and all are simple each-way singles. Following this service shouldn’t amount to more than five minutes when the tips are received the evening before racing.

Will I Need Any Equipment to Do This?

A PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone with an internet connection and access to a range of online bookmaker accounts is recommended.

Value for Money?

As always, I will wait for the conclusion of the review before reaching a conclusion on this point.

Quality of Customer Service?

This has not been tested but setting up the account for the review was quick and easy and all of my email queries were answered quickly and effectively.

Review

Each Way Outsiders is run by Peter Gordon, an analyst who has transferred the skills of his day job to providing betting advice of the each-way market in the UK and Ireland. Despite designing many different analytical approaches to horse racing Peter suggests he has found finding value on each-way outsiders to be the most lucrative of his slants.

By applying the same professional and analytical standards from his day job Peter aims to deliver long-term profits for his members. Remember though that this is an each-way service backing longer odds horses and will, as a result, experience losing periods in between what can be quite lucrative wins.

Each Way Outsiders produces an average of two to three tips each day, all of which are each-way singles. The staking is 2.5 points each-way at odds of between 5.0 and 10.0 (4/1 to 9/1), two-points each-way between 10.5 and 20.0 and one-point each on selections over 20.0 (19/1).

The daily email is sent each evening between 19:00 and 21:00 with the following day’s selections. The information on the email is limited to the selection, race time and course, a reminder of the stake and the advised odds together with the bookmaker(s) offering that price.

There is nothing complicated about this service, just bear in mind the average odds mean potentially longer losing sequences.

A look at the results spreadsheet on their website shows a profit of 600-points to best odds guaranteed (BOG) between April and September 2019, an average of 100-points per month. At SP (starting price) the return is shown as 501-points (83.5 points per month average). Although we are not given any information on return on investment, a quick calculation on their spreadsheet suggests an ROI of 55.8% in the period April to September.

Results – Month 1 (5th September to 4th October 2019)

This month produced just four winners, with a further 14 placed selections. This resulted in a loss for the period of 37.19 points. Whilst not the ideal start to the review, the loss represents a drawdown of just 14.88% of the recommended bank and, as stated in the review above, losing periods will be part and parcel of this type of service.

The average odds of the four winning selections was 9.25 (between 8/1 and 17/2), whilst the placed selections averaged slightly lower at 8.96 (just under 8/1). Both of these figures are significantly below the average odds of all selections for the month which was around 14/1 (15.16).

The month actually entered the final week in a small profit position, but a run of just one placed return and one small loss from a place in the last 14 selections resulted in the final loss position.

Summary at End of Month 1

As I said above, the loss represents a drawdown of just 14.88% of the recommended bank and losing periods will be part and parcel of this type of service. The key is what the next two months deliver.
