How Much Money Do I Need to Get Started?

A 300-point bank is recommended for this service.

How Much Money Can I Make?

The Tipster Street website shows an average monthly profit of 116.86 points at an ROI of 133% since the service launched in March 2018. However, November 2018 produced over 1,300-points profit on its own. That said, recent months have averaged 82-points*.

How Much Time Will I Need to Make This Work?

There are not tips every day, and on days with selections that can range from one to five. The singles are also combined into a multiple on days with more than one selection, but the maximum time required when the tips arrive should still be no more than 10-15 minutes.

Will I Need Any Equipment to Do This?

A laptop, PC, tablet or smartphone with internet connectivity and access to a range of bookmaker accounts.

Value for Money?

A final assessment will be given at the end of the three months.

Quality of Customer Service?

Part of the Tipster Street stable of tipsters and benefits from the infrastructure that comes from that. My communication with the owner Neil has always been very professional and timely. When I have used the support link through the website – for other Tipster Street services not this one specifically – I have always received a prompt and helpful response.

Review

Charlie Mears Racing sits on the Tipster Street platform and has been active since March 2018.

This is an each-way service, with all bets staked at one-point each way, regardless of whether that’s on a single or an accumulator. On days with more than one selection they will be advised as a double, treble or accumulator alongside the singles.

The shortest priced selections tend to be around 5/1, but the other end of the scale can be 33/1 and bigger. The average odds across all selections tend to be around 11 or 12/1. Selections can come from any code of British and Irish racing, so it is very much a year-round service.

The daily email arrives between 09:00 and 11:00 and is clear and concise in its presentation. Currently, all Tipster Street information is available via email only.

The Tipster Street website shows an average monthly profit of 116.86 points at an ROI of 133% since the service launched in March 2018. However, November 2018 produced over 1,300-points profit on its own. This included a one-point each-way treble that produced three winners at 12/1, 5/1 and 14/1.That said, the three months between April and June 2019 have still averaged 82-points at an ROI of 102.46%*.

Results – Month 1 (30th June to 29th July 2019)

This long-awaited review got off to a rather damp start with a loss of 30.76 points in the first month. However, a look at the historic results show that six of the previous 16 months of the service have also finished in the red, with four of those registering larger losses than 30-points. This is not surprising when you consider the average odds of selections in that period are around 12/1.

Average odds in the first month of the review were slightly higher than that at 14.5 (between 13/1 and 14/1), with the winning selections averaging 10.83 (just shy of 10/1). There were three winners from the 35 single selections, giving us a win strike rate of 8.57%. In addition, there were a further five placed selections.

Charlie saved the best till last, with the final bet of the month, Lethal Steps, winning at an advised 12/1.

Results – Month 2 (30th July to 29th August 2019)

This month saw just a solitary winner from the 36 single selections (2.78%), but there were a further 12 placed selections which helped to mitigate the loss to 11.23 points. We now have a cumulative deficit after two months of 41.99 points.

The placed singles also led to two winning each-way doubles and an each-way fourfold (although this included two non-runners so was in effect another double).

The average odds of all selections this month fell to 11.78 (towards 11/1), whilst the winning single was advised at 5/1.

Summary at End of Month 1

As I’ve said at the end of the first month of many of the reviews, one month neither makes nor breaks a service, and with the historic profile of this service that may prove truer than ever. We look for a better outcome in Month 2.

Summary at End of Month 2

The challenge of following any tipster with average odds in double figures is being able to ride out the inevitable losing runs which are often counteracted by a big winning month. I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see the final month of our review redress the balance based on past performance*.
