Advent Tips – December 14th

We bagged another winner last night, with Manchester United comfortably getting the better of Arsenal despite Wayne Rooney’s best efforts. Incidentally, the Scouse ‘striker’ has now gone 258 days since he last scored from open play for his club side.

December 14th

Back Dundee to beat Cowdenbeath and back the Donegal – Glenavon match to go over 2.5 goals. This is a double at approx 2.45 with Bodog and 2.35 with Sky Bet

Now, I realise that I can, on occasion, give certain people, teams and even entire nations quite a hard time and at the very least, I tend to be a little bit biased towards the English based tips.

So, in the festive spirit of understanding and togertherness I’ve decided to reach out today with a Celtic double.

The first part of our bet involves a Scottish Division One match between Dundee and Cowdenbeath. Despite experiencing serious financial problems of late, Dundee have managed to string together a seriously impressive set of results. They are currently unbeaten in seven and have a home record of four wins, three draws and no defeats.

Cowdenbeath on the other hand, have lost their last two and have an away record that reads, two wins, no draws, four defeats.

I expect Dundee to maintain their good form tonight and the bookmakers have priced this up accordingly.

For part two of the double I’m going to head over to the Northern Irish Premier for Donegal vs. Glenavon. While it may not be the best quality league in the world, the Irish Premier is certainly entertaining, with goals aplenty week in, week out.

Just check out these stats – only two of Donegal’s last 21 matches have gone under 2.5 goals and just two out of Glenavon’s last 12 matches have gone under 2.5 goals!

Suffice to say, overs looks nailed on here.

Now, the odds on both selections are fairly short (around 4/7) and there aren’t too many bookmakers that have even priced up the Northern Irish bet but at odds of about 6/4, a cheeky double looks  a good shout to me.

The best prices are currently at Bodog but you can also get involved with Sky Bet.
