Wind Down From Cheltenham With This Basketball Tip

Well, what a day that was…

At the risk of sounding like Bez out of the Happy Mondays, I’m buzzing!!

But, much as I’d like to spend the rest of the week sat in front of the tele surrounded by snacks and beer cans, there’s work to be done.

You see, I’ve come across another cracking profit opportunity and like our successful bowls bet, this one’s a little under the bookies radar…

And you know what that means…

Value!!

So, grab a cuppa, push your Cheltenham analysis to one side and let me tell you why we should back Ohio State and Louisville to win the NCAA Championship.

NC what now?

Before I go any further, you’ll probably want to know what the NCAA is.

Well, quite simply, it’s college basketball.

But don’t worry, its not college as in 17 and 18 year old art students taking a break from their spiralling dope habits…

Its college as in the American thing that only rich kids and kids that are really good at sport can attend.

While I’m not sure I completely agree with their education system (my parents aren’t rich and I’m not a seven foot tall basketball ace) it does make for some very high quality college sports tournaments…

Egg and spoon race followed by a choc ice it aint.

What this all means is that there are plenty of money making opportunities to be had and I believe that I’ve eked out the best of them.

First, back Ohio State at 5/1 with Bodog or 9/2 with Sky Bet (these prices won’t last long so be quick)…

And then back Louisville (with half your usual stake) at 33/1 with Sky Bet or 30/1 with .

Reasoning and ting

Anyone been watching CBeebies cartoon Rastamouse?

Apparently some people have claimed that it’s offensive!

Well, quite frankly I’m offended by their claims of offense.

What’s the betting that 99% of these people haven’t even seen the programme?

It really is pathetic and exactly why I’m going to write these next few lines in a dodgy accent.

Right then my bredren, why Ohio State?

Well mon, they’re dynamite.

The best team in the regular season – it’s the truut.

And there aint no opponent they kyaan beat.

They got real desire (and top seeding)…

And the draw has done dem good.

Also worth a small stake (half the usual) are Louisville, who should walk the first couple of rounds before coming up against joint tournament favourites Kansas in the third.

Should they win that and Ohio not slip up, we’ll have two teams in the ‘sweet 16’ (the NCAA’s terminology not mine) and will be looking good for a tasty profit.

So, there you go…

Back Ohio State to win the NCAA Championship at 5/1 or 9/2 with Bodog or Sky Bet

And back Louisville (with half your usual stake) at 33/1 or 30/1 with Sky Bet or .

College basketball may not be your cup of tea but just like the bowls, if there’s money to be made then it’s worth a bet…

Matt Houghton – making a bad ting good.
