Start 2012 With A Free Bet (New And Existing Customers)
Happy New Year and all that jazz…
2012 is upon us and I’m determined to make it another profitable 12 months.
To kick things off I thought I’d attack a generous offer from Bet 365, who are promoting a £50 in play free bet on tonight’s Man City vs. Liverpool match.
This is for new and existing customers and works as follows…
Place a pre-match bet on Man City vs. Liverpool of up to £50.
You will then be able to bet the same stake in-play and, if the in-play bet loses, you’ll get your money back.
So for example, if you place a £40 pre-match bet on Liverpool to win and a £40 in-play bet on Liverpool to draw, the most you can lose is £40 from the initial bet (if City win) – the other £40 will be returned.

Now, there are a number of different ways to play this but I think your best bet is to eliminate at least some of the risk…
I’ll be doing this by placing my initial £50 bet on Man City to win at 10/11 and then laying City for £50 on Betfair at 2.0.
That way if City win, my initial bet loses just under £5 (45.45 from the back bet minus 50 from the lay bet) and if City fail to win, I break even (50 from the lay bet minus 50 from the back bet)…
All of which means that we have now secured a £50 no lose bet at the risk of just a fiver.
All that’s left then is to decide on something to stick the 50 quid on…
By all means you can back and lay again to lock in some guaranteed profit (you should be able to make £30-35 at no risk) but, when it comes to free bets, I’m all for a shot at a bigger price winner – after all, you can’t really lose!
Therefore I’ll be backing Craig Bellamy to score first if he starts (after kick-off the market will be called ‘Next Goalscorer’) at 8/1…
Reasoning – he has a point to prove to Mancini and he’s in great form…
And if he doesn’t start I’ll be taking a chance on Suarez at 7/1, who had an enforced and much needed rest last time out.
By all means, back a City player or take on a different bet altogether…
I’m simply siding with Liverpool players as I think the 9/2, 5/1 and 5/1 for Aguero, Dzeko and Balotelli are a tad short, given that they’re up against the stingiest defence in the league.
Whatever you go for be sure to let me know of any successes via email or a comment below and good luck…
It’s essentially no risk and a great chance to start 2012 with a bang!
