It is difficult to categorise this website and the services offered – in the spirit of Shakespeare celebrations it might be considered a Man for All Seasons as it tries to cater for most potential betting interests. It is possible to dip into free content as the mood takes you or even become a tipster and sell your selections with all stops in between.
First time site visitors may wonder where to start as the home page does not really tell you much unless you scroll down to the bottom where the elements of the site are summarised. You may then spot a link to the Newcomers Guide (which is the Betting Guide page when you get there) and this does give some detail on what can be found on the site.
Our brief was to look at the Market so I will leave the other elements for members to explore as they wish – the emphasis seems to be on finding people who want to share their tips and potentially progress into becoming a paid tipster via the market.
The Market starts with three articles about the service and the tutorial would seem the best place to begin. However, this is more a jump off point for the various elements without any detailed guidance so we hoped that the other 2 sections would be more use covering how to choose a tipster to follow and a discussion whether to actually follow tips or do your own thing. The articles lead to further articles and to be honest I was starting to get completely confused as to where I should be heading by this time.
Let’s assume we want to find some profitable tips using the site. Tipsters that offer selections on site have a profile on display and summaries and detailed analysis of their performance so picking successful ones should be straightforward. A rating is applied to tipsters from 1 to 4 with currently 3 having the top rating and the majority just 1. It is possible to contact the individual tipsters to discuss their service and even come to a specific arrangement for your own requirements.
In the main though you would probably start by using the main area where to access the tips you will require to have registered yourself on the site and then buy credits which can be used to acquire individual tips. It is possible to filter the type of tips you see when you log in to your account. Advice on bank management is available and there is some good general guidance on setting up bookmaker accounts etc.
When a tip is purchased you see the brief details initially with a link to a list of bookmakers showing the range of odds available. There may also be analysis of the individual selection.
If, alternatively, you are looking to become a paid tipster then there is a process to go through before you can offer these on site. It appears that the best way to start is to offer selections in the free area and then develop from there. The site undertakes all the admin including payments to you so all you have to do is provide winning tips regularly! Simples!
This is an ambitious site with good intentions and if you have the time and inclination to delve deep into its options this may well be rewarded in the long term. I suspect that the appeal in the UK market will be limited as we generally like to have everything done for us so that we can just place the bet and forget it!
But if it rains on Bank Holiday then why not take a look and see if there is anything that suits you. Unlike many of the usual products around you will not have to spend anything to find out what is actually on offer and dipping your toe in the paid for pool can be done very cheaply indeed.
