This is all about how to write a perfect sales promotion. John says that he has over 25 years of experience and that he has helped some of the biggest publishers out there.
I’ve seen his name before and is one of the top copywriters in the information publishing industry.
He is well thought of and respected – but can he help you master this skill of selling?
Obviously, a sales promotion is the process of persuading a potential customer to buy the product. This is done in various formats, one of which is direct mail.

I checked out a few of those sites and customer testimonials and they all seemed genuine.
Quality Of Customer Service?
I personally didn’t use the customer services.
John Carlton’s credibility is not in doubt, he has worked with a string of guru’s and marketing experts. Names like Rich Schefren, Frank Kern, Perry Marshall, Harlan Kilstein are amongst the most successful marketers around at the moment. These people trust John to write copy for them and they use his exact program in their own businesses and for the benefit of their own staff.
So if you take john’s course you’ll be using the same techniques, approach and methods that all those guru’s have used. And the same structure will be present in your own sales material.
The course is very much like many other copywriting resources and the content is good. It takes you through making offers, writing headlines, using testimonials, showing your credibility and then promising a guarantee and trial.
These are all standard writing techniques that you can learn from numerous sources. But what John does here is simplify it so that anyone can pick this up and try to replicate it for their own use.
I think one of the biggest attractions for this course is that John actually gives you a copy of what he calls a swipe file. This is a breakdown of all the best performing sales letters, adverts and emails that he has used.
This means you can get a complete back catalogue of all the best, most responsive sales letters used. This alone is probably worth the price if you already have items to sell.
But for someone starting out in copywriting I think this course is too expensive. It’s not to say it’s not worth the money, it is, but only in the right hands.
For most people starting out in a writing career I think that the down payment is actually just that step too much. I’d suggest anyone starting out on this path as a career should perhaps take on a different, cheaper course and see how they find the initial learning of these type of skills.
