Get On Newcastle Before The Price Plummets

| December 9, 2010 | Reply

You might not believe it but I do actually like Newcastle…

Well, I’ve never been to the place but the football team is entertaining and I used to live with two Geordie girls who were very pleasant…

The owner of the football club however, is an idiot.

As was the previous owner and most probably the owner before him.

For some reason the post of Newcastle owner just attracts idiots…

Perhaps St James Park revels in the chaos…

That, I don’t know but what I do know is that as a result of Mike Ashley’s idiocy, the team is in for a tough time of it over the coming months.

Let me quickly run through the managerial record of new boss Alan Pardew (who was appointed on a five and a half year contract by the way)…

Reading – fell out with the chairman and resigned as manager to move to West Ham.

West Ham – sacked after seeing the club through their worst run of defeats in over 70 years.

Charlton – relegated from the Premier League, struggled in the Championship, left by mutual consent i.e. sacked.

Southampton – sacked.

Now, clearly that is the CV of a man who should be handed a five and a half year contract at one of the Premier League’s bigger clubs?

No?

Well then, how about this – Pardew and Ashley are good mates, having regularly frequented the same London casino!

I’ll get my coat.

Quite simply, back Newcastle United to be relegated at 5/1 with Boyle Sports and Extra Bet.

Pardew – the people’s choice

Or not as the case may be.

In a recent poll by the local Evening Chronicle for who Newcastle fans wanted as their next manager, Pardew attracted a whopping 14 votes…

Out of more than 1000.

Yet Ashley being Ashley, he went and hired him anyway.

This, accompanied by the hugely unpopular decision to sack Chris Hughton, should ensure that their new manager receives a decidedly frosty reception.

As with Gary Megson’s appointment at Bolton a couple of years back, this is only likely to create a bad atmosphere around the club – something which more often than not has a negative impact on performances.

Despite a decent start to the season, Newcastle are actually just four points off the bottom three and with Wolves and West Ham putting in some decent performances of late, that gap could continue to shrink in the coming weeks.

Get on this BEFORE Saturday!

If you want the best price on this it is very important that you get on it quickly.

If you do get the 5/1 it is highly likely that you’ll have the option to trade out for a guaranteed profit come New Years Day.

That’s because Newcastle’s upcoming fixtures look pretty scary…

This Saturday they face an improving Liverpool side…

Next week they go to Birmingham, who are extremely strong at home…

On Boxing Day they host Man City…

And two days later they travel to Spurs.

Happy Christmas?

I think not.

That unattractive fixture list, combined with the dissenting voices in the crowd could easily drag Newcastle right into the relegation dogfight…

And if they’re in the bottom three come New Year, you’ll do well to get 5/4, let alone 5/1.

So, back Newcastle to be relegated at 5/1 with Boyle Sports and Extra Bet.

If you are a Magpies fan, don’t think of it as a betrayal, think of it as a sound investment…

After all, you should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity and unfortunately for you lot, your owner aint the sharpest tool in the box.
