This was based upon a strong premise and many of you got in touch with me to tell me about some great results that you had been getting.
However…
I also received a few emails from people that weren’t so impressed with the results.
Now, because I’m a bit of a perfectionist, I took another look at the system and decided that it could be improved.
I’ve done just that and the results have been excellent.
While the basis of my original system was good, I felt that there were certain tweaks that could improve its profitability.
I’ve implemented these and found that over the first 50 selections the system has made a profit of £400 to £10 stakes!

In this revised system, the staking has been changed so that we are now focusing on one specific type of bet…
As a result, the strike rate is lower but the winning odds are bigger…
Much bigger.
During testing, winners have included 11/1, 12/1 and 20/1 shots and what’s more, they’re a regular occurrence!
As with all systems, I would advise paper trading this one for a while to get a feel for it before you use any real cash…

Hi Matt, I am into my 3rd day with the Greyhound Forcast System now, lost 12 forcast bets, won 0 as yet with 4 to go today, in the month’s results you sent me you had 4 times when you had that many losers without a winner and one time with 11 losers without a winner, so here is hoping,

Hi Graham,
One of the key aspects of the system that I wanted to put across in the PDF was the fact that you will experience long losing runs. This is because the winners are always at big prices (about 11/1 on average).
Obviously it’s unfortunate that you’ve gotten off to a difficult start but my trial has shown that overall you should be able to make a good profit, providing you stay patient.
I experienced a few losing runs but they were often followed by some highly profitable winning runs.
On average, you only need one winner out of 11 to break even, so there is no need to panic. Stick with it and I’m sure it’ll come good!

Hi Matt, I am as keen as ever, in the trial did you check every race that was a selection to check if the order changed from RP website or stick to the forecast order? sofar today I have had the winner & 2nd but in the wrong order

I placed my bets as close to the off as possible to ensure that they were in the right order.
This takes a little longer as you have to keep an eye on the markets a few minutes before the race but it is well worth doing.
Hi Matt, what betting site did you use just before the off, as I notice you talk in fractions as apposed to decimals, so I don’t think you used Betfair,
You can use any site you like, although Betfair is probably not the most accurate, as there isn’t a huge amount of liquidity in the greyhound markets.
As for the reults being recorded in fractions, that’s just out of habit!
Hi matt, no luck today, but I have learnt a lot, went on Paddy P. website to see how to place forecast & can see you can refresh as often as you like & I have a radio controlled clock so I know the exact time, so I will see what tomorrow will bring, many thanks for your help, I think I am almost there,

I have purchased and tested your Lay-zy Dogs system and think it is fantastic. My only problem is try to lay my selections at Starting Price… How do I do this. Betfair says SP is only available on Horse racing…

Unfortunately you can’t lay at the start price, irrespective of whether we are talking about greyhound racing or horseracing (SPs are for backers only). I would advise you to lay the selections as close as possible to the start of the race.

Quick question about the choice of CALC time on the RP card.
Is the time we are looking for *the last at that distance* (regardless of grade of previous run/s), or the last at that distance *and at that grade*?

Matt, I’m surprised you say SP laybets on horses are never allowed. They are certainly possible on Betfair, which allows one to set an SP limit and also maximum liability. I place them quite often.
I didn’t know that Huw but then I’ve never really been inclined to try it, so I guess it’s not surprising.
I don’t really do lay betting aside from the one greyhound system I have (Lay-zy Dogs) so I’ve never really explored that avenue. I can certainly see how it’d have it’s advantages.
