Act Now To Claim Your £50 Free Bet

| June 29, 2011 | 33 Replies

Free bet offers can be a bit of a minefield.

Sure, they all look great on the face of it but delve a little deeper and you’ll often find all manner of sneaky terms and conditions…

Any winnings must be wagered three times before you can make a withdrawal…

Your stake will not be returned if you win…

Your qualifying bet must be placed on third division Icelandic pygmy wrestling…

And so on and so forth.

But by far and anyway the most common term is a minimum odds limit, usually around the evens mark, that adds an element of risk into the equation.

Sure, you’ll get a free bet but with a minimum odds limit, what’s to say that you won’t lose both the free bet AND your initial bet, leaving you well down overall?

That then, is why Coral’s current offer (a Betting Rant exclusive no less) is so good…

Not only can you qualify for a £50 free bet BUT there’s no minimum odds limit, which means that we can take full advantage.

Claim Your EXCLUSIVE £50 FREE Bet With Coral

For a limited time new customers to Coral can claim a £50 FREE bet when you stake £50 on the event of your choice.

With a huge number of sports betting markets, Coral also offer comprehensive ‘bet in play’ markets and ‘best odds’ guaranteed on all UK and Irish horse racing.

Get Your £50 FREE Bet With Coral TODAY!

So, how are we going to make the most of this offer then?

Well, first you need to sign up with Coral, which you can do so via any of the links in this article and then, simply place this bet…

Back Andy Murray to beat Feliciano Lopez with £50.

Yes the odds are cr*p (1/9) but do I care?

Not a jot.

That’s because Murray will win today…

He’s in great form, has an excellent record against Lopez and his opponent will also be low on energy after coming through a five setter in the previous round…

And because that will be enough to net us a £50 free bet…

Then, tomorrow or Friday I’ll post another article, with a way to make best use of that 50 quid…

It really couldn’t be simpler.

One word of warning before I go: this offer will close by the end of this week, so don’t dilly dally – take advantage today.

If you happen to find this article after the Murray match has finished, leave a comment at the bottom of the page and I’ll provide you with another ‘banker’ bet…

After all, I wouldn’t want anyone to miss out on a bit of bookie bashing!

I get so tired of these ‘free bets’ given out endlessly—-Always for Newbies ! Would love a 50/1 free bet BUT you never get anything like that for existing customers.

  2. Matt Houghton Matt Houghton says:

Very true Elisabeth – that is the one down side with this offer.

I do find that if you don’t use a bookie for a while they’ll often send you a free bet (betclic are particularly good for that) but even those bets are rarely as good as the intro offers.

  3. clive says:

    Hi Matt

had power cut then surge and computers only come back on so wouldn’t mind a banker bet tomorrow – where I am it’s the bookies and the dodgy computer networkou have to bea!

    Hi Matt,

I also missed the Murray bet , but would love to profit at Mr Coral’s expense! So a banker with which to open an account would be very welcome.
Thanks for all your “Rants” – have made a few quid from many of them.

    Best regards,

    Ged

  10. Matt Houghton Matt Houghton says:

Bit of a stinker wasn’t it Frank? Mind you, after such a good run it was probably due.

And not to worry, anyone who’s missed the Murray bet. I’ll post another ‘banker’ up here tomorrow, followed by a bet for the free £50 on Friday.

  11. frank says:

    Hi Matt
I already have a/c’s with most bookmakers as advised by yourself, what do you suggest as an alternative?
    Regards
    Frank

  12. Dave says:

Hi Matt computer was down yesterday so missed the Murray bet thanks

  13. Matt Houghton Matt Houghton says:

    Hi Frank,

I’ve only got Coral as an exclusive at the moment but if another good offer comes up I’ll be sure to let you know.

    Matt

  14. Matt Houghton Matt Houghton says:

As for everybody else, there are a distinct lack of ‘bankers’ knocking about today but you should be safe with this one:

Back Germany to beat Nigeria in the women’s world cup. Kick off is 19:45.

The odds are 1/50 so you’ll make a grand total of a pound but it’s the free bet that matters.

  15. ray says:

Be carfeful with this free £50 it did not show up in my acc so i contacted them and got it added to my acc. Then i wagered £10 of it after i got it and the other £40 went into an expired state, I contacted Corals and they refunded me with £40.

  16. Mark says:

Dreadful couple of days, profits blown away and we’re now in deficit. I guess we were hoping for more, given that most of today’s selections were odd-on.

    What’s the plan Matt?

  17. Matt Houghton Matt Houghton says:

Stick with it Mark, bad runs come and go.

At one point last year it was more than 10 points down and you know the final result.

  18. Matt Houghton Matt Houghton says:

Wise words Ray. Any problems contact Coral and if that doesn’t work tell me and I’ll have a word with them.

  19. Matt Houghton Matt Houghton says:

Just ended on a winner Mark so we’re only two points down for the day – not a disaster by any means.

  20. Mark says:

Hi Matt. Yes, mighty relieved to have the winner in the last!

Sorry to be negative – one of those days!

  21. Matt Houghton Matt Houghton says:

    No worries, it’s understandable.

It is so important to give things like this time though. Too many people lurch from one system or service to another, leaving off the back of just one or two bad days and that tactic just doesn’t work.

No system is perfect but if it’s proven to deliver long term profits, that’s good enough for me.

  22. frank says:

    Hi Matthew
200 smackaroonies went yesterday, perhaps I should have done Lazy Horses.I feel sure you will turn it around Matt but hurry up.I am going away for the week end with my money instead of the bookies.
    Regards
    Frank

  23. frank says:

    Hi Matt
Where you are giving 2 horses in the same race is this an e/way option or to win.By the way, as I mentioned in my previous e mail it would be nice to come back from my week end away to find my Betfair a/c somewhat replenished after todays results.
    Kind regards
    Frank

  24. Matt Houghton Matt Houghton says:

    Hi Frank,

See comments to Mark RE a response to your first point.

With regards your second point read the sections of the guide on Staking and Dutching.

    Matt

  25. Dawnie says:

I didn’t respond to this because I already have an A/C with Coral. Can you get around these ‘Newbie’ offers by using another e-mail address?

  26. Matt Houghton Matt Houghton says:

    Hi Dawnie,

Some bookies are stricter than others but I think you would probably struggle due to the fact that you also have to enter your name, address and payment details.

You could advise a friend to open an account and split the profits?

    Matt

  27. robert says:

    Hi Matt,
Love your articles! Never understand them! Can’t wait to win some money, any money, even two bob, but with all the dross and old toffee spouted out by so called, ‘experts’, such as you, that happenstance seems to be confined to infinity.
Take the much vaunted Hugh Taylor. Heard of him?
I backed every one of his Royal Ascot tips, 18 in all, and he got two seconds!
I’m also with Tony Elves, heard of him?
So far, all I’ve had, is apologies, apart from ‘Dave’ his mouth at the other end of the ‘phone, who tells you fifteen seconds worth of information in ten minutes!
I’d like to be nice about it, but it’s my money, and I’m fast losing it to people like you who pretend to know what you don’t.
    Nice raving at you!

  28. Matt Houghton Matt Houghton says:

    Hello Robert,

    Lovely to hear from you.

I’ve no idea who any of those people are that you refer to, which kinda suggests to me that you’re barking up the wrong tree here. I mean seriously, two seconds from 18 races? Premium phone lines? You should really be more careful about who you give your money to.

You’ll be pleased (or not) to hear that there’ll be no apologies from me. Nothing to apologise for you see. My track record is there for all to see and it’s very much in profit. In fact, just take a look through the site archive for evidence.

    Cheerio,
    Matt

  29. Mark says:

Hi Matt. Just wondering, is it worth hedging with in-running lays? Most of the losers end up second, therefore we might be able to lay at low liability and perhaps save the stake if the horse doesn’t win. What do you think?

    All the best, Mark

  30. Matt Houghton Matt Houghton says:

    Hi Mark,

It’s a really interesting thought and I’ve been mulling over how to get some cash out of the runners up for a while now. After all, we have plenty of them!

Each-way betting isn’t really suited as the prices are generally quite short. In play betting is an idea and is worth testing but the only problem with that as part of a service is it would mean people having to monitor the races and I’m not sure that many would have the patience.

I suppose one possible solution would be to set an unmatched lay bet with the aim of making a profit (or saving the stake) in virtually every race but that would completely change the dynamics of the system.

I’m sure there’s something that can be done as the win and place percentage is so high (something like 80%) but it’ll need a fair bit of testing so I’ll try a few ideas out over the next couple of weeks.

    Matt

  31. Mark says:

Thanks Matt, I will wait to hear from you with your suggestions and advice.

Maybe it could be an “advanced tactic” of the system, which is optional depending on available time.

    All the best, Mark

  32. Matt Houghton Matt Houghton says:

    Mark,

I think I may just have cracked it – something logical but also something fairly simple…

Any single selection (i.e. not a Dutch) that is evens or bigger should be backed each way. Your stake should be the sames as a normal bet which means twice the total outlay. So, if you usually bet £10 these bets will be £10 on the win and £10 on the place.

Using this tactic would have made us nearly 6 points better off already this year.

I’ll check through last year’s results but it may just be a goer.

    Matt

  33. Mark says:

Excellent idea. I look forward to implementing this – it would’ve worked really well tonight, but in any case a great night!

I’ve tried the in-running lays – difficult to say whether they actually help. I think in finishes where our selection is second by a length or less the low exposure lay would be a good saver, but obviously very difficult to predict! I think your each-way solution is definitely the way forward. Thanks for your advice Matt.

    All the best, Mark
